The Great Outdoors: Intramuros, Manila

January 8, 2017

Hi everyone! After what feels like infinity of contemplating of a blog project, I (semi-proudly) present to you THE GREAT OUTDOORS!

The Great Outdoors will be featuring the photos I took as I traipse from place to place. Join me as I document the product of my camera, my eyes, and my feet.

The following photos were took in Intramuros, one of my favorite places to go to. I usually refer to it as the "other side of Manila." And yes, this will be my first ever entry for my blog project!

Lyceum's view above the wall.
Palacio del Gobernador

Having a walk inside Intramuros is fascinating enough. How much more when you've got to see this band perform?

Manila Cathedral
One of my favorite streets!

San Agustin Church
Thank you for reading!

All your comments and feedback for my blog project will be taken by heart. I'll be very delighted to read them all in my comment box. I also would like to know your blog project so please take your time telling me that as well. Have a great day!

Always,

Xeph.

  9. Congrats on this project! Keep it up! I love Intramuros too because I love old architecture. You should visit Las Casas too if you like old-Spanish style houses. :)

  11. Oh God, this makes me miss Manila even more! I missed going to Manila Cathedral (we used to attend Mass there when visiting Manila), have a stroll at Intramuros (which I missed the most) and see kalesas. I love your photos so much! <3

    1. Hello Kai! I'm sorry if I made you missed Manila even more. Haha. Manila Cathedral is pretty much the same thing as before. Still surrounded by tourist and locals. Intramuros in general is the same as well. You should visit soon.

  15. Great photos!
I've only been to Intramuros once, but I've been thinking of visiting it again on my next trip to Manila. The place is just so historical and rich in culture. I agree with you, it's a very different side of Manila, it feels like you've been transported back in time!

  16. AHH your photos are the kind of photos I aspire to take HAHAH. I wish I could take photos like you! I sadly don't have much to afford a camera for my own, and so I only take photos with my iPhone (which is good enough, I guess, but a camera's quality is lovely). Intramuros is a lovely place, and I went their for my field trip around 2 or 3 years ago haha. There wasn't a band, though, but I visited the Rizal Museum! Lovely post! And great blog, I loved reading through it.

    1. Hi Jillian! I think you should maximize the use of your iPhone's camera. I believe you can do much out of it. I'm definitely not the right person to tell advice regarding taking photos. I think my photos have a long way to go before can be called "good". Thank you very much for appreciating!
